The weekend could not have gone any better for the Ste. Rose Celtics varsity girls' volleyball team.
Playing in the Panther Invitational at Glenboro Collegiate was a dream weekend for the stars from Ste. Rose as they did not lose a single set in winning the championship.
Following a clean round-robin which saw Ste. Rose defeat the host team, Shoal Lake and Wawanesa, Ste. Rose went on to hammer both Baldur/Cartwright and Neepawa to advance to the final.
It was the same in the finals as Ste. Rose downed Deloraine, 25-14, 25-11.
