A playoff was needed.
Dale Murray lasted that playoff and finished it off in grand style. Playing in the men's open at the Gilbert Plains Country Club on Saturday, Murray birdied the first hole in a sudden death playoff against Boston Karlson and Zach Fedorak.
All three shot six-over 77s. Karlson was awarded second on a count back while Fedorak finished third overall.
