John Tomlinson was in fine form at the Minnedosa Golf & Country Club late last week.
Competing in Golf Manitoba's Mid-Amateur Championships, the Gilbert Plains Country Club member came to play with three consecutive rounds in the 70s. In his first round, John sank one birdie en route to shooting a 79 which was followed up by a two-birdie performance in his second round in shooting a 76.
Tomlinson then capped off his tournament by firing one birdie and a 78 in the third round. John's solid play saw him finish in solo 44th while he finished solo 13th in the mid-master field.
Playing some great golf thanks to his hard work and dedication to the game, John will look to keep it going on Saturday when he tees it up in the Men's Open at the Gilbert Plains Country Club.
