After a solid season that saw the team advance to the league semi-final, the Dauphin Clippers football team handed out their season-end awards earlier this week.

Oliver Dandeneau took home the most improved player from last season. He finished with 159 on 31 carries and two touchdowns. He also had 38 tackles, 11 assists, one sack, one fumble recovery, and two interceptions.

The most improved player during the season was Kyle Lunsted. He ran for 126 yards and had one touchdown and he also played on the offensive line at times. The most outstanding defensive player award went to Joseph Lopez, who also won the league-wide award. He finished his incredible season with 44 tackles, five assists, one sack, three fumble recoveries and three interceptions. On the offensive side of the ball, he ran for 508 yards while racking up four touchdowns and he had three receptions for 85 yards.

Damon Nepinak was the most outstanding player on the defensive line as he finished with 12 tackles, one quarterback zack and three tackle assists. Lopez and Scott Gower shared the most outstanding offensive player award. Gower rushed for 376 yards, had two touchdowns and he also had one reception for 30 yards.

The most outstanding player on the offensive line was Sully Fox and Owen Tyschinski. 

Mitchell Rauliuk was named the team's rookie of the year.

The Wellborn Family Dedication Award went to Scott Gower while Liam Jamieson took home the Coaches Award. The Best First Year Player in grade 11 and 12 was Josiah Seale and Austen Semchyshyn was the team's most outstanding special teams player. The playoff most valuable player was Joseph Lopez.

Rob Tomkins won the Ron Ricketts Family Award for his tireless effort for the team.
