A bad second half of the second period cost the Dauphin Kings their 21st loss of the season, an 8-1 decision to the Winkler Flyers Friday night.
The game itself did not feel like a blow out. For a game to be a blow out one team needs to heavily outplay the other and that, in my opinion, wasn’t the case on this night. Winkler just showed their experience when it came to skill and finishing on their chances.
The Kings had lots of opportunities to do things in the offensive zone, and they did. However when it came to scoring goals it was the last dot they just couldn’t connect. I actually thought Dauphin didn’t play that bad of a road game.
