Brady Oliveira made his first career CFL start in place of Andrew Harris last Thursday when Winnipeg played Hamilton and the hometown boy sure made his mark.
He carried the ball 22 times for 126 yards and for his efforts, the Blue Bomber has been named the CFL Performer of the Week.
Brady also had one catch for 21 yards in the 19-6 win as Winnipeg started their season with a win over the favoured Tiger-Cats.
To start the fourth quarter, Brady had four straight 'double-digit' runs of 10, 15, 13, and 11 yards respectively.
Harris' status remains uncertain for Winnipeg's game on Friday which means Oliveira could be in line for another start.
