The Dauphin Kings have the opportunity to clinch a playoff berth when they hit the ice on TV Tuesday inside of Credit Union Place. Tonight's opponent is the OCN Blizzard who Dauphin had some success against, but they've also struggled at times against them.

A win tonight by Dauphin or a Winnipeg loss in Virden would clinch the spot. However, tonight's best-case scenario for Dauphin would be a win by them and a win from the Winnipeg Blues in regulation. That would put the Kings just one point behind Virden for sixth place in the standings.

Dauphin is coming off a weekend split against the top two teams in the league. With six games remaining this season, Dauphin can max out at 69 points. Looking ahead this week, Dauphin plays Portage on Friday before they tangle with Neepawa on Saturday.

A win from Dauphin tonight would also eliminate OCN from playoff contention. Grady Hobbs enters the game with 66 points, the most of any Dauphin King while Boston Bird leads the way offensively for OCN with 39 points.
