Tyron Sweetman scored two goals to help the Dauphin Bantam East Kings move on to the semi-finals.
Sweetman's two goals were a part of a five-goal eruption from the team as they took down Tri-Valley, 5-2, in the third and deciding game of the series. AP call-up Easton Odut also scored a goal in the game and he was joined by Liam Chartrand and Trayden Guiboche who also added singles.
The team will now play Minnedosa in the semi-finals of the Parkissimo Hockey League. The winner of Dauphin and Minnedosa will challenge the winner of Hamiota and Neepawa in the finals.
West Kings:
Will challenge Sandy Bay in the consolation side semi-finals. Hayden Armstrong had a shutout in game one against Portage as the Kings won 6-0. In game two, Dauphin scored a big 9-2 win to sweep the best-of-three series.
