Sometimes bounces don’t go your way and they certainly didn’t tonight for the Dauphin Kings.

Playing in Portage, the Terriers capitalized on a couple lucky bounces in a 5-3 win over Dauphin.

The loss means Dauphin remains three points behind Virden for sixth and they’re now four back of Wayway for fifth.

Cole Dekoninck led the way for Dauphin with two goals. Cordell Coleman also scored his first ever goal with Dauphin which turns out to be his first junior hockey goal.

Dauphin is back on the ice on Tuesday when they welcome OCN to town.
