The Dauphin Kings have been playing solid hockey as of late and they'll look to keep that going this evening when they hit the road. The team plays at the Yellowhead Centre for just the second time this season as they go up against the 11th place Neepawa Natives.
Heading into the contest, Dauphin has won four of their past five games, one of which was against the first place Steinbach Pistons over the weekend. Dauphin enters the game three points back of both the Virden Oil Capitals and Waywayseecappo Wolverines who are both tied for fifth in the league.
This season against Neepawa, Dauphin has had some success, however, not as much as they would have hoped for as they're 1-1-0-1 against them this campaign.
Neepawa has been eliminated from the playoffs while Dauphin's magic number to clinch a berth in the postseason is 2.5. Neepawa's played last evening when they lost to Waywayseecappo.
Darnell Duff has the pregame show this evening beginning the Parkland Source for Sports pregame show at 7:15.
