The Dauphin Kings played a solid defensive game, Levi Mitchell was fantastic once again and the club picked up a big win.

Taking on the Portage Terriers, Mitchell made 30 saves to record his first shutout with the Kings in a 2-0 win.

After no goals were scored in the first two periods, Braeden Young would score the game-winner and his second goal in the last week.

Cole Dekoninck would score the insurance marker late.

Dauphin has now won three straight games.

They’ll look to make it four straight next Friday in Portage. Darnell Duff will have the call of that game beginning with the pregame show at 7:15.
