The good times continued to roll for the Parkland Rangers this evening. The club trailed twice against the Brandon Wheat Kings, but they battled back both times and they ended up picking up two points in a 5-3 win inside of Credit Union Place.

In a game where two Rangers scored twice each, Parkland has now won three games in a row for the first time this season. Tonight's win marks the first time the Rangers have won more than two games in a row since the 2017-18 season. They won four straight games from September 30 to October 7 that year.

Parkland trailed 1-0 after 20 minutes, but Garrett Hrechka tied the game up 6:15 into the second.

The Wheat Kings would score a late goal in the second to take a 2-1 lead after 40.

Just 1:20 into the third, Mackenzie Menard would score his first of the night to tie the game at two. This time it was Parkland's turn to take a lead. Garrett Hrechka scored his second goal of the game at the 11:38 mark as Parkland took a 3-2 lead.

Rylan Gibbs would then make it 4-2 on a nice tip in front with Jayden Jubenvill and Taggert Plouffe getting the assists. Trailing 4-2, Brandon would get back in it with a goal with 1:46 left in the game.

However, that's as close as Brandon would get. Menard would score his second goal of the game into an empty net with 35 seconds left as Parkland would skate off with two points in front of their home crowd.

Keaton Ziprick was solid in the game as he made 27 saves.
