The Dauphin Clippers varsity boys volleyball team ended their great run at the Tec Voc tournament with a second place finish in Winnipeg.
After placing first in their pool yesterday, the team beat Shaftesbury, 25-18, 25-23 in the quarterfinals earlier today.
In the semifinals, the team nicknamed the “Mighty 7” dispatched of Leo Remillard, 25-19, 25-16.
Tec Voc ended Dauphin’s run in the final with a straight set win on their home court to claim the title.
Dauphin finished the tournament with 11 set wins and they lost just three.
Dauphin’s JJ Love was named Tournament All-Star.
