Late last month, Dauphin's Kevin Thiele and Boyd White locked up a tournament win in Brandon. Now, the duo has placed high in another tournament.

Playing in the Clear Lake Classic over the weekend, the team finished up in second place after a hard-fought final.

Kevin and Boyd earned a spot in the finals by beating a duo from Yorkton in straight sets, 7-5, 6-4. That set up a finals rematch from last year when the Dauphinites beat Brandon's Gilbert Lee and Kit Harrison.

This time, it was the Brandon duo that came out on top in a match that went the distance. They won 3-6, 6-3, 6-4.

"We played pretty well and we're happy with the outcome," said Thiele.
