The Stanley Cup is heading to Brandon next week.
On Monday, July 8, Joel Edmundson will share the day as everyone celebrates the Brandonite winning the title, which was St. Louis' first ever Stanley Cup in their 52-year history.
The event is open to the public, it's a free event and there will be a BBQ on-site with food and beverages available for purchase.
"I'm excited to bring the Stanley Cup to Brandon to say 'Thank you' to those that helped me along the way to show people that dreams do come true," said Edmundson.
"It's really exciting to see a local Brandonite win the whole thing," said Krista Kowaluk, Marketing & Sponsorship Manager with the Keystone Centre. "It's going to be really cool to celebrate it as a community. We're certainly excited for the day."
It will take place at the UCT Pavilion from 1-5:00 p.m.
