Manitobans Participate in Red Shoe Crew Walk
People in communities across the Province participated in the Second Annual Red Shoe Crew Walk yesterday that supports Ronald McDonald House Charities Manitoba (RMHCMB).
Dauphin's three-kilometre walk began at 9 am with a light breakfast, and the walk following immediately after at 10 am.
Special Events & Community Relations Manager for RMHCMB, Jan Currier says the Dauphin walk was hosted by two local families spearheaded by the Kaleta family.

Missing Taser Found By Winnipeg Police
Winnipeg police have recovered a Taser that they allege was stolen while they were trying to help an injured man.
Police said earlier this month that they used the Taser when people in a crowd assaulted them while they were trying to help the man.
Police said the weapon was dropped and then disappeared.
Police say the weapon was recovered yesterday and that charges are pending against a person who was arrested.

Former Manitoba Liberal Party Leader Says Goodbye
Former Manitoba Liberal party leader Rana Bokhari will officially say her political farewells at a party function in mid-October, but the real public goodbye came yesterday.
Bokhari hosted an open house at the firm of Bokhari, Smith and Walker, where she announced she's a partner in the new firm.
Her exit comes after a disappointing campaign where she failed to win a seat in this spring's provincial election.
Bokhari officially resigned in August after keeping a low profile for the summer.

Attacks In Syria Escalate
