A vote in favour to end school of choice applications for Brandon Schools near of full capacity passed last night.
With school of choice, students are generally allowed to attend another school instead of the one in the area they reside in.
Brandon School Division administration is to decline the requests for schools at above 90 % their capacity.
The change takes effect immediately.
