An arrest has been made in relation to the arson in Crane River that occurred yesterday morning.
Just before the fire, RCMP received a report of an assault at the residence and when the officers arrived the house was engulfed in flames
When the investigators were able to enter the residence, they located what is believed to be the remains of the reported female victim of the assault.
Earl Moar, age 19, has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Arson with Disregard for Human Life, Assault and Breach of Recognizance and remains in custody.
