A meteorological firm says 2017 was Winnipeg's third driest year on record.

Weatherlogics says total precipitation was 333.1 millimetres.

That's  just about a millimetre wetter than in 2006, which was the second driest year.

A normal year's rain, snow and sleet add up to 527.2 millimetres.
