Manitoba Justice has called for an inquest into the suicide of a Dauphin inmate.
26-year-old Freeman Zong of Dauphin died last year at the Dauphin Correctional Centre.
The inquest is to determine the circumstances related to his death and to determine if anything can be done to prevent similar deaths from occurring in the future.
The date, time, and location of the inquest will be determined by the Chief Judge of the Provincial Court of Manitoba and will be announced at a later date.
