Public Health officials identified 1,790 new cases of COVID-19 in Manitoba today.
*Dauphin now has 24 active cases of COVID-19*
The test positivity rate has increased to 40.3% provincially.
The case breakdown for today's numbers are:
80 in the Prairie Mountain Health Region.
116 in the Interlake/Eastern Health Region.
84 are in the Northern Health Region.
190 are in the Southern Health Region.
1,320 are in the Winnipeg Health Region.
The numbers of active cases in other Prairie Mountain Health districts are:
Riding Mountain (9), Swan River (11), Duck Mountain (10), Porcupine Mountain (15), Agassiz Mountain (53), Asessippi (83), Little Saskatchewan (57), Whitemud (37). Brandon has 1,100 active cases.
In the Interlake, the Eriksdale/Ashern health district has 48 active cases. The Fisher/Peguis district has 83 active cases.
There are 18,844 active COVID-19 cases in the province.
211 Manitobans are hospitalized with active COVID-19.
29 Manitobans are in intensive care units with active COVID-19.
