The man who accidently shot a 16 year old boy while hunting near Pulp River appeared in court today.
Paul Flett, 67 years old from Duck Bay, was hunting beaver when he fired toward the bush and struck the boy who was also hunting.
The boy was transported to a Winnipeg hospital to be treated for his injuries.
Flett is charged with Careless Use of a Firearm and is scheduled to appear in court again on January 2.
