The City of Dauphin is looking to purchase a new Grader.
As part of the 2018 capital Budget, Dauphin Public Works is asking the city to replace an old New Holland grader that has been in use since 2005. So far Public Works has been quoted costs of around 280 thousand dollars, but hope that after a request for proposal is released the price will go down.
The old grader model is no longer manufactured by New Holland and has caused trouble for the city to find parts. Sometimes they have to wait for weeks for the parts to get shipped from Europe.
