Small rural communities are not the only ones worried about ambulance services.

Just recently the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority has ended it agreement and has locked it's funding with no increases for the next two years.

Brandon has just recently breathed a sigh of relief when Prairie Mountain Health Authority announced they do no plan to change the funding to the city's fire and emergency services.

In the 2017 budget, Prairie Mountain Health has committed $1,278,642 for ambulance service in Brandon.
