An early morning blaze on Monday is responsible for the destruction of a garage on 17th Street in Brandon.
Police and emergency crews responded just after 4 a.m. and remained on the scene for over two hours.
According to neighbors, the flames were 40 to 60 feet high and loud banging was heard during the fire.
Four cars were damaged in the blaze, but surrounding homes were not damaged. The fire is not considered to be suspicious.
