Saskatchewan has the highest rates of HIV in Canada.
Reports are indicating that the level of new cases are almost triple the national average.
Health Minister Jim Reiter is concerned about the rising rates but states the province has increased focus on HIV testing.
The hope is the testing will reduce overall exposure and help to decrease the spread.
