Manitoba municipalities want more money from the province to fix roads.

The federal government has agreed to pay 40 per cent of infrastructure costs, and the communities would pay 20 per cent.

Chris Goertzen, president of the Association of Manitoba Municipalities, says the province needs to be part of the plan.

The Association of Manitoba Municipalities is having its annual convention this week in Brandon.
