Manitoba's proposed carbon tax is going to have to rise.
The province released its proposed five-year climate plan, including a flat $25-per-tonne carbon tax.
This is half of the $50-per-tonne tax by 2022 prescribed in a federal plan.
However, that will not work after two years according to the federal government and carbon taxes will have to rise past 25$ per tonne after 2 years.
