The threat of Manitobans paying a health-care premium seems to be set aside for now.
At a news conference today, Premier Brian Pallister stated the government would not be proceeding on the matter for his first term
The response from the pre-budget survey put out by the PC's, showed that Manitobans were not in favour of paying a health tax.
The options in the survey for respondents were if they'd prefer a low premium, a high premium or reduced services.
