According to reports from family and friends, former Brandonite Tara Roe (formerly known as Tara Smith) was killed in the Las Vegas mass shooting on Sunday night.
Originally from Brandon, she currently lives in Alberta.
According to friends, Roe was a teacher's aid, and previously worked at Precision Toyota in Brandon and modeled in Calgary.
Roe was with her husband and two others, when she was last seen or heard from, attending the Route 91 Harvest country music festival, where the shooting took place.
She is the fourth Canadian dead, while six others are wounded from the attack.
