An arrest has been made in the series of violent attacks in Edmonton last Friday night after the CFL game.
30 year old Abdulahi Hasan Sarif was arrested after a police officer was stabbed and some pedestrians were struck by a moving U-Haul.
Sarif, who was a Somali refugee, is facing five counts of attempted murder and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.
The police said terrorism charges are also to be expected however none have been laid so far.
