The Watson Arts Centre received a generous donation last night as part of their Big Ask Campaign.
Roger Watson presented the organization with a substantial donation.
Watson talks about the donation he gave.
“Well it was a hundred thousand dollars but things cost money and they need to fix things,” stated Dr. Watson. “So they will go through that money pretty quickly . I think that I would argue that if I donated money, my father donated much more than that in time. If you multiply his time times some kind of minimum wage, I think the amount he contributed was much greater than what I contributed.”
He hopes to see the preservation of the building for many years to come.
