Three new cases of PEDv have been found in the province.
Manitoba Pork said these cases were confirmed since September 8th. This brings the total cases to 76 in this current outbreak.
The latest discoveries are finisher sites, which appears to be a recurrence of shedding from animals which were moved to these sites.
36 previously infected premises have achieved PED transitional status, which means all the animals on the site are no longer clinically sick.
Manitoba Pork is reminding Parkland producers to remain vigilant about biosecurity on their farms to avoid the spread.
