The Grandview Fire Department is hosting their first ever awards banquet.
The event is scheduled for October 28 starting at 5:30 in the evening at the Grandview Kinsmen Community Centre.
Grandview Fire Department Chief, Jeff Safronetz, provides some history of the department.
“We currently have 21 members on the department and as far back as our records go, it started in 1960, so we have about 57 years on record of the Grandview Fire Department,” noted Safronetz. “This is going to be the first awards night in history of the Grandview Fire Department so we’re really looking forward to it.”
