The official lot dedication for Dauphin’s second Habitat for Humanity home is still going ahead rain or shine.

Committee chair for the dauphin chapter Rodney Juba has an update on the status of the event.

“Just want to let everybody know that the lot dedication ceremony for Habitat for Humanity is still going to happen this afternoon at 5 o’clock. Would really like to encourage people to bring their umbrella, in case we get a little bit of rain. We do have a large tent set up on site. I know there are some people who may have questions regarding our project and we will have information provided this evening on site for people to take some information home. But please come on out. Rain or shine we’re going to have the dedication ceremony.

The ceremony takes place at 30 -7th Avenue N.E. tonight.
