Some freezing rain fell in the Parkland last night coating the roads with ice.
It didn’t snow like the forecast last night had predicted.
But a special weather statement is in effect for the region that says a cold front will come through bringing a strong north wind and plummeting temperatures today and for the rest of the week.
Gusty winds will likely give some poor visibility in some areas.
