A sentence is expected today in the case of a Winnipeg truck driver who was involved in a Saskatchewan highway crash that killed three teenage boys.

Normand Lavoie pleaded guilty to dangerous driving causing death and dangerous driving causing bodily harm for the chain reaction collision two years ago in a construction zone near Spalding.

The defence has previously asked for a sentence of no more than 16 to 25 months in jail.
