The Roblin Municipality has been under a lot of scrutiny by a newly formed group known as the Roblin Ratepayer Association.
A lack of transparency and unfinished audited statements from years 2014 to 2016 have raised some questions.
Roblin Mayor, Wade Schott, provides some information as to when the audited statements should be completed by.
“We’ve met with the auditors and have been talking with them and we are kind of looking at a time frame of at the end of September,” noted Schott.
A total of $261 thousand dollars has been held back in Gas Tax money for the past three years because the statements were not completed, however once they are the municipality will receive that money.
