The Watson Crossley museum in Grandview will be holding their grand opening for the T A Burrows Museum this Sunday.
At 1 o’clock, the opening of the museum that holds many artifacts from T A Burrows will be available to be viewed by the public.
Lyle Morran, Chairperson for Watson Crossley museum in Grandview, talks about how the idea of creating a dedicated museum began.
"The Burrows family were in Grandview and we held in a reenactment on our museum day a couple years ago and invited them up. They saw it and were impressed with what we did by preserving the history of Burrows and had a meeting with them after, they suggested we put in an application for a new building to house the Burrows artifacts and we went from there."
10 members of the Burrows family and members of the current company will be in Grandview for the opening.
