Hot dogs and a rainbow auction will be taking place on June 16th to raise money for 3 charities that have made an impact on the lives of a Dauphin family.
The 4th annual Dane Kaleta Memorial BBQ will be setting up at the Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy Parking Lot from 11 to 2.
Along with hot dogs, an auction with almost 70 prizes will be there to raise funds. For Curtis Kaleta both the big charity and the local organizations are special to his family.
"Last year it was at the Barker School playground because that's where our daughter goes to school right now and also Parkland crossing and the play room cause we have gone their a few times as well as the pool. So this year we chose Dauphin Minor Baseball which our daughter is a member of as well as skate Dauphin which our daughter is a member of. So we have chosen charities that we are involved in."
Over the past 3 years the family has been able to raise nearly $40,000 with $20,000 being raised last year.
