St. Viator's Church in Dauphin recently had some private property removed from their grounds on Tuesday night.

A parish member donated red and white solar lights for Canada's 150th celebration that were on display in planters that were donated by families of the church.

St. Viator's Parish Board member, Ken Yakielashek, talks about how the church decorates the church grounds for the season.

"We have planters set up along our driveway, that were purchased last year in memory of different families that have belonged to the Church for a number of years. In those planters, through out the summer we would plant flowers in them, and this year, for Canada 150 celebrations, we purchased solar lights that were red and white. On Tuesday night, somebody borrowed 9 out of the 12 lights that we had."

The parish would be extremely grateful if the solar lights were returned to the church and anyone with information can call the parish at 638-4892.
