Mountain View School Division, in conjunction with Assiniboine Community College, offers a health Care Aide Program for upcoming Grade 12 students to enroll in.
Students can now graduate high school with their Grade 12 High School Diploma and a Health Care Aide Certificate from ACC.
MVSD Dual Credits Facilitator, Stephen Jaddock, speaks to how the Health Care Aide program was established.
"It is a memorandum of understanding that has been signed with ACC and Mountain View School Division, so this is the second year -- we've already come through the first year -- where we had six students from Mountain View School Division that were in Grade 12 sign up for the comprehensive healthcare program."
An informational meeting will be held on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at the DRCSS cafeteria.
