Manitobans nervously await the release of the 2017 Provincial Budget on April 11.
With the recent cutbacks in healthcare and the focus on reducing the deficit, many are wondering what other services and programs will be affected.
Dauphin Mayor, Eric Irwin, can relate to the notion of saving costs.
"In Dauphin, we are a growing community, and we have several projects that are outstanding. One of course is the MRI so that people get early Cancer Diagnosis, and that's important to make a commitment to that."
The budget reflects decisions that have been described as difficult but necessary according to the Progressive Conservative government.
