Another Parkland community is handling the situation of overland flooding.

Similiar to Ste. Rose, the Mossey River Municipality is in pretty good shape in terms of drainage thanks to public works opening up culverts to get water flowing.

According to Kate Basford, Head of Council for Mossey River Municipality although the area is in good shape for the time being they do have concerns.

"Well right now we're actually in a good situation, there is some standing water and we've been opening up ditches and culverts and the water is moving [...] our concerns if we had any right now, is I know Lake Dauphin is high and Lake Winnipegosis is high."
