The Ethelbert Veterinary District is searching for a veterinarian to work out of their municipal and provincially funded clinic.
The Chair of the Ethelbert Veterinary Services and Reeve of the Municipality of Ethelbert, Art Potoroka, describes the recruitment package being offered.
"We provide something that is not provided in any other Province. We provide the facility, we provide housing, and in our case we have a fully-renovated two-bedroom home at no cost to the veterinarian. All the utilities, nothing to pay. You just simply come in and you set up your business. You run your business with all the other costs that normally would be associated. The value of all these amenities is somewhere in the $30,000 range. We also provide a cash stipend, which is paid out every month."
