The province has released their March flood outlook.

According to Infrastructure Minister Blaine Pedersen not much has changed from the previous flood outlook in February.

However, following the blizzard that made it's way through southwest Manitoba, Lake Dauphin is now a major risk for overland flooding.

According to Flood Forecaster Fisaha Unduche, Lake Dauphin becoming a major risk, came primarily came from one event.

"Lake Dauphin, that area another 2 inches of snow after the March 6th storm. Our forecast shows that the lake could go above 1.5 feet above the flood estate."

Pedersen and Premier Brian Pallister visited over twenty different government officials in five stops throughout southwest Manitoba on Thursday as well.
