The City of Dauphin is looking into further construction in the north end of town.

Last night during the City's regular council meeting, discussion arose about new investments towards side walk construction.

According to CAO Brad Collett there are specific locations the City is focusing on.

"We're going to be constructing quite a bit of side walk in the north end, we received a petition from the residents on the area of Tulip Crescent and so there's going to be some side walks being constructed all along Hawthorne connecting up Mountain Rd, Barker School division down
Bond that sort of thing."

Other topics raised at last night's meeting was capital funding approval for downtown development, concerns over pot holes and the issue of homelessness in Dauphin.

A date for construction has not yet been determined.
