It may still be Winter but job postings for the summer are quickly arising.
Manitoba Eco-Network recently posted a number of green jobs on their network's job board with a focus on youth outreach.
According to Karen Peters Executive Director for Manitoba Eco-Network, jobs aren't only restricted to the major cities.
"Well when they look at our green jobs board they'll see there are jobs in Parks Canada and some of those are specifically in the Parkland area.... first get their resume together and cover letter and then apply for the jobs in a timely fashion, if they want to come into Winnipeg there are jobs closer to Winnipeg but there are certainly jobs out in the Parkland area."
Manitoba Eco-Network also says the following positions are tailored for students looking to gain experience in the environmental sector.
