A 24-year-old man from Oxford House is dead following an alleged assault in Thompson.
RCMP say their Thompson detachment received a report of an assault around 1:30 yesterday morning in an apartment complex in the city.
Officers found an unresponsive man upon arrival. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
26-year-old Brittany Amber Robinson of Oxford House is charged with manslaughter.
RCMP say it's believed the victim and the suspect knew each other.
