After a surge of people crossed the US-Canada border in Manitoba overnight Friday, the rest of the weekend was quiet in that regard.
RCMP say no one was apprehended for illegally crossing the border overnight Saturday into Sunday.
RCMP say two groups making up 21 people were arrested for illegal border-crossing overnight Friday to Saturday. All of them requested to make refugee claims and were taken to the Canada Border Services Agency port at Emerson to do so.
